Course Overview

The Pedicure Course at Havana Sun Academy, Mullingar, is a one-day professional training program designed for nail technicians and beauty professionals who wish to expand their skills and confidence in delivering safe, hygienic, high-quality pedicure treatments. This course focuses on both the cosmetic and practical aspects of pedicure — from perfect nail and cuticle work to callus softening, exfoliation, massage, and the use of professional products for smooth, healthy feet.

Training takes place in small, focused groups of up to 6 students, ensuring each participant receives personal attention and full hands-on guidance from our experienced tutors. Students are required to bring a model for the practical part of the course so they can perform a complete pedicure under the educator’s supervision.

All tools, products, and equipment are provided on the day; you only need to bring your model and enthusiasm for learning.

The course begins with an in-depth theory session, covering anatomy of the foot and nail, health and safety, product knowledge, hygiene standards, and client consultation. After the theory, you’ll observe a trainer demonstration, followed by your own practical session, performing a full pedicure on your model. You’ll also learn how to troubleshoot common issues such as thickened nails, hard skin, or product sensitivity.

The course is fully AIT-accredited, and upon successful completion, you will receive a recognised Pedicure Certificate, qualifying you to safely perform professional pedicure services in any salon or as an independent beauty specialist.

Entry Requirements:
Completion of both the BIAB Gel Polish and E-File Course is required prior to attending.

Payment Information

To secure your place, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance can be paid in the salon by card or cash before the course begins.
Alternatively, you may choose to pay the full amount upfront when booking.

Terms & Conditions

• Minimum age: 16 years
• Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 10 days of the course date.
• Rescheduling may be possible with sufficient notice, subject to availability.
• Havana Sun Academy reserves the right to reschedule courses due to low attendance or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, students will be offered an alternative date or a refund.

What You Receive

A Havana Sun Academy course goodie bag, including a training product kit to support your work after the course (excluding electrical equipment and hard tools).

Each participant receives a printed and digital Pedicure training manual, full access to salon-grade tools, products, and equipment during training, and ongoing post-course mentoring support through our student group.
Tea, coffee, and light refreshments are provided on the day.
