Course Overview

The E-File Course at Havana Sun Academy, Mullingar, is a professional one-day training created for nail technicians who want to master safe and precise electric file techniques. This course focuses on controlled product removal, refining the nail surface, and thorough cuticle preparation using the e-file. You will learn how to work efficiently while protecting the natural nail, improving speed, and achieving clean, professional results suitable for modern salon standards.

Training takes place in small, intimate groups of up to 6 students, ensuring each participant receives personal attention and close supervision from our qualified educators. The course combines both theory and hands-on practical training. During the practical session, students will work on their own hands, allowing them to feel how the e-file performs and gain full control over each technique.

All products, tools, and e-files are provided on the day, so you don’t need to bring anything with you. Just come with a positive attitude and readiness to learn!

The class begins with a short theory session where you’ll learn about e-file structure, different types of bits, correct speed and direction control, and tool hygiene.
Then, you’ll move on to a full step-by-step practical demonstration, including safe product removal, cuticle refinement, and surface smoothing. You will also learn to troubleshoot common issues such as heat spikes, vibration, or over-filing.

This course is fully AIT-accredited, and upon successful completion, you will receive a recognised Certificate that qualifies you to safely use an electric file in any professional salon environment.

No previous qualifications required.

Payment Information

To secure your place, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance can be paid in the salon by card or cash before the course begins.
You may also choose to pay the full amount upfront when booking.

• Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 10 days of the course date.
• Rescheduling may be possible with sufficient notice, subject to availability.
• Havana Sun Academy reserves the right to reschedule courses in case of low attendance or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, students will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

What You Receive

Each participant receives a printed and digital training manual, full use of all e-file tools, bits, and professional products during training, and ongoing post-course support through our WhatsApp.
Tea, coffee, and light refreshments are provided during the session.
