Course Overview

The BIAB Gel Polish Course at Havana Sun Academy, Mullingar, is a professional one-day training designed for nail technicians who wish to expand their skills and confidence in structured gel manicures. This course combines expert product knowledge, nail preparation, and builder gel application techniques to achieve strong, flawless, and long-lasting results. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to offer BIAB manicures as a premium service in the salon.

Training takes place in small, intimate groups of up to 6 students, ensuring that every participant receives individual attention and hands-on guidance from our experienced educators.The course includes both theory and practical learning. During the practical session, students will work on their own hands—no external models are required.

All products, tools, and materials are provided on the day, so you only need to bring your passion and enthusiasm to learn. However, if you prefer, you may bring your own gel brush for comfort and familiarity.

The class begins with a short theory session, where you’ll learn about nail structure, hygiene, product knowledge, and correct preparation techniques. Then, you’ll move on to a full step-by-step BIAB application, including base building, apex structure, shaping, and finishing. You will also learn how to troubleshoot common issues such as lifting, cracking, or uneven surfaces.

The course is fully AIT-accredited, and upon successful completion, you will receive a recognised Certificate that allows you to safely perform BIAB treatments within any salon or as an independent nail artist.

Completion of E-File Course is required prior to attending.

Payment Information

To secure your place, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance can be paid in the salon by card or cash before the course begins.
You may also choose to pay the full amount upfront when booking.

• Minimum age: 16 years
• Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 10 days of the course date.
• Rescheduling may be possible with sufficient notice, subject to availability.
• Havana Sun Academy reserves the right to reschedule courses if minimum attendance numbers are not met or in case of unforeseen circumstances; in such cases, students will be offered an alternative date or refund.

What You Receive

A Havana Sun Academy course goodie bag, including a training product kit to support your work after the course (excluding electrical equipment and hard tools).

Each participant receives a printed and digital training manual, use of all salon products and equipment during the class, and continuous post-course support through our WhatsApp. Tea, coffee, and light refreshments are provided during training.
