Course Overview
The BIAB + E-File Combo Course at Havana Sun Academy, Mullingar, is a full-day professional training course that combines two of the most in-demand nail skills: structured BIAB application and safe electric file techniques. This intensive class is perfect for nail technicians who want to master both builder gel manicures and e-filing in one session — improving speed, precision, and overall service quality in the salon.
Training takes place in small groups of up to 6 students, ensuring each participant receives individual guidance and full hands-on attention from our experienced educators. The course blends theory with extensive practical learning. During the practical session, students will work on their own hands, which allows them to fully understand the techniques and gain real control and confidence.
All products, tools, and e-files are provided on the day, so you don’t need to bring anything with you — just your enthusiasm and readiness to learn!
The class begins with a theory session that covers nail anatomy, hygiene, product knowledge, and safety when using the e-file. You’ll then move on to detailed trainer demonstrations, followed by your own step-by-step practical work: learning how to prepare nails with an e-file, apply BIAB, build a perfect apex, and create a smooth, durable finish. You’ll also learn how to troubleshoot common problems such as lifting, cracking, uneven surfaces, or over-filing.
The course is fully AIT-accredited, and upon successful completion, you will receive a recognised BIAB & E-File Certificate, enabling you to safely and professionally perform services in any salon or as an independent nail artist.

Payment Information
To secure your place, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance can be paid in the salon by card or cash before the course begins.
Alternatively, you may choose to pay the full amount upfront when booking.

- Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 10 days of the course date.
- Rescheduling may be possible with sufficient notice, subject to availability.
- Havana Sun Academy reserves the right to reschedule courses due to low attendance or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, students will be offered an alternative date or a refund.
What you receive
A Havana Sun Academy course goodie bag, including a training product kit to support your work after the course (excluding electrical equipment and hard tools).
Each participant receives two printed and digital training manuals (for BIAB and E-File), full use of all products, tools, and equipment during the session, and ongoing post-course mentoring support through our WhatsApp.
Tea, coffee, and light refreshments are provided during the day.
